The Big Transition

I've been looking for a new username for about a month now - let's face it, Epicfish is pretty lame. I've been to a few username-generator sites and pressed that "Generate new username" button many times, and finally found something I liked. I googled the word and nobody else has used this username, nor does a site exist with this username as its domain.

Therefore, it's safe to say that I have a unique username now. What is it, you might ask? Well, here goes:

Ok, so that looks like a bunch of randomly generated letters that make no sense at all? You're absolutely correct! Ok, whatever, it's not that fantastic but at least it looks cool.

So, I've got my username, that was the easy part. Now I have to change all the accounts I own to this username, and that's going to take some serious sucking up to the administrators of all the forums and stuff I have joined thus far...

How to Get Blog Traffic in 3 Easy Steps

1. Create a blog post explaining how to get blog traffic. That way, when other bloggers want to get traffic on their own blogs, then they will come to your blog and like the post so much that they will keep coming back. Voila, free traffic.

2. Mention the word "beeg" in your posts. It's a proven fact that this will massively increase blog traffic, at least for Koreans.

3. Actually consider making useful posts. If you do this, you're more likely to gain loyal visitors that will keep coming back.

I think I will stick with steps 1 and 2 for the time being.

The Ultimate Social Network

I've been pondering lately - if Facebook, Twitter and Google+ were to combine, effectively creating "the ultimate social network", what would it be called?

I would definitely call it FaceTwit+, or maybe GoogleTwitFace. Even TwitFace+ would make my day...

Any ideas of what you would call it? :P

Save the Spoon

Today I did a whole lot of work on Save the Spoon - all without touching my computer.

I decided I would spend the day pretty much planning out the game from start to finish. I designed a lot of levels and built the story. I might upload some pictures but for now I'm keeping this stuff fairly secret :3

Indie Function FTW!

I've just become a member of the Indie(Function) forum. It's pretty damn cool :P

The forum is like a massively-small-scale version of the Game Maker Community (which has thousands of members), with just 40 or so people joined :)

Achievement get!

I just dropped in to see how this blog is going, and I looked down the bottom - 192 views!

Ok, it's not much, but seriously, last time I checked it was only about 100, most of which were from me.

What's even more interesting is the fact that I've still managed to keep people "entertained" enough to keep coming back (well, sort of), even though my blog posts are usually incredibly short.

I mean seriously, have a look at the last few posts :P

Save the Spoon Update

I added a small update to Save the Spoon today. The following things were changed:

• Added clouds


• Added evil cheese :D


• Updated the tileset


• Added a lock that can be unlocked using the key.


• Moved the key to underneath where you normally walk (see for yourself)


• Made a whole level to play. More will come soon ^_^

Save the Spoon

I just started making a platformer where you are a fork that has to save your friend (a spoon) from an evil knife! It's obviously nowhere near done yet, but here's a demo:
